About Sam Kearns
Sam Kearns is a Multimedia Artist based in New York City. In 2020, he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
Sam developed an appreciation for the arts at an early age. His first mentor was Daniel Owens, a reality television star (Blow Out) and his family’s hair stylist. Daniel taught Sam how to style hair as a way to express himself. For a time, Sam was Daniel’s assistant, as he made house calls all over Beverly Hills and vicinity.
Sam began to focus on photography in college, and began blogging during his sophomore year. His work has been recognized by brands such as Harry’s, Club Monaco, Flora + Bast, ISSAI, and The New Company.
He briefly interned at Tiger Beat Magazine, and assisted celebrity stylist Maggie Barry on the NBC television series, Little Big Shots. In his junior year, he was scouted by MMG, and began working part-time as a model and actor.
He’s since collaborated with numerous creatives, and has walked the runway during Style Fashion Week Los Angeles and New York Fashion Week for designers Andre Soriano, Xiaoxuan Fu, Keehyun Kim, Marc Marlon, Glenroy March, and Juan Colon.
Sam has also appeared as many of the New York-based television series, including High Fidelity, Bull and Billions. He models and acts, not to become popular or wealthy, but because he genuinely loves making art and collaborating with other creatives. He looks forward to helping you achieve your vision.
